Power windows in ranger cut out
« on: October 27, 2008, 12:29:24 PM »
So the passenger side power window in my ranger took a shit last night coming home from a friend's house. I've never really been a huge fan of electrical. Any ideas on what it could be? It makes no sound.. driver side works fine. HELP!!

what you can do to see if the motor itself is working is use a drill battery like a makita or craftsman whatever.....unplug the motor from the wire... run a wire from a positive terminal to one of the plug ends on the motor and do the same with the nuetral.... then push the button and see if it moves.... if so then recheck your fuses then follow the wires
