What do you like to ride? I prefer sand, but hard pack is a lot of fun too

I could never choose. They are completely different.Sand is nice because you dont have any dust.Plus the terrain is huge bowls, killer hills, and great jumps that are pretty damn forgiving.
Hard pack is bad ass too, with bitchen burms, whoops, jumps, slots, sand washes, and much more.
Racing hard pack or any course that is laid out is the best, because you read the directional arrows and danger markings. That way you can rip through it full out untill you see a danger marking, then you take it down a notch untill your through ,and get on it again.
Any of you riders who hav'nt experienced a District 38 race, are encouraged to come out and run the Beginer class.Just for fun if nothing else.Last year there was a husband and wife running beginer class on Utility Quads. They took last everytime, but they had fun and thats what the sport is really about.Anyone interested can PM me for more info on it. ;)
Race
Sand
HardPack
in that order.

Sand for sure. I've had some falls in sand that would have ended up really badly in hardpack.
